Tenolam Tablet 30 is used for the following:

• Treatment of HIV-1 infection

• Management of chronic hepatitis B infection

• Reducing viral load in HIV patients

• Improving immune system function

• Prevention of HIV progression

• Protecting liver function in Hepatitis B patients

• Combination therapy for HIV management

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

Tenolam Tablet 30 is taken orally.

Tenolam Tablet 30 contains two active ingredients:

• Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate (300 mg): As a nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor, tenofovir targets an enzyme called reverse transcriptase enzyme. It incorporates itself into the viral DNA chain, causing termination of DNA synthesis and stopping the virus from creating copies of itself.

• Lamivudine (300 mg): This component is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) that works by preventing the HIV-1 virus and hepatitis B virus from multiplying inside your cells. It also blocks the reverse transcriptase, which is essential for viral replication.

• Store at room temperature in its original container.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed to protect it from moisture.

• Do not use if the seal over the bottle opening is broken or missing.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not use it after the expiration date printed on the package.

• Maintain a balanced diet rich in protein. This helps support your immune system, which is important when managing HIV-1 or hepatitis B virus infections.

• Drinking plenty of water throughout the day can help your kidneys function properly and may reduce the risk of kidney-related side effects while taking this medicine.
