Telefix Mt 25 Tablet 15 is used for the following:

• Managing high blood pressure

• Reducing risk of heart attacks

• Preventing strokes

• Improving blood flow to the heart

• Relaxing and widening blood vessels

• Controlling persistent high blood pressure

Follow these instructions while taking Telefix Mt 25 Tablet 15:

• Take the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.

• You may take this medicine with or without food.

• Try to take it at the same time each day for best results.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly, even if you feel well.

• Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Telefix Mt 25 Tablet 15 is taken orally.

Telefix Mt 25 Tablet 15 contains two active ingredients that work together to lower blood pressure:

• Metoprolol Succinate (25 mg): This ingredient belongs to a class called beta-blockers. It blocks the action of certain natural chemicals like epinephrine (a stress hormone) on your heart and blood vessels, resulting in a slower heartbeat and reduced blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This component is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It relaxes and widens your blood vessels by preventing a hormone called angiotensin II from compressing them, which helps decrease blood pressure and allows blood to flow more smoothly.

• Store Telefix Mt 25 Tablet 15 at room temperature below 30°C.

• Protect from direct sunlight, moisture and heat; do not store in the bathroom.

• Keep all medicines out of reach and sight of children.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Reduce your salt intake by avoiding processed foods and not adding extra salt to meals, as high sodium in take can worsen high blood pressure.

• Engage in regular moderate physical activity like walking for 30 minutes daily, which helps lower blood pressure naturally and improves the effectiveness of blood pressure medicines.
