Taxim-O Drops are used to treat bacterial infections in infants and young children, helping clear infections of the respiratory tract, ear, throat and gut so your child can recover.

Uses of Taxim-O Drops are:

• Respiratory and Throat Infections: Treats bacterial infections of the lungs, throat and tonsils.
• Ear Infections: Treats acute middle ear infections (otitis media).
• Typhoid Fever: Treats enteric fever (typhoid) in young children.

• Take Taxim-O Drops as instructed by the doctor. 
• Do not chew or break the tablet. 
• Take the medicine after your meal.
• Read the label carefully before consumption.

• Taxim-O Drops is to be taken orally with water.

Taxim-O Drops composition includes Cefixime. 

• Cefixime is in a class of medications called cephalosporin antibiotics.
• Cefixime is used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria such as bronchitis.
• It stops the building of cell walls. 
• Taxim-O Drops kills bacteria by weakening and destroying their cell walls. Thus, Taxim-O Drops fights bacteria.

• Store this medicine in at room temperature (below 30ºC).
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep the medicine away from pets.
• Do not use this medicine past the expiry date.

• Include fibre-rich food in your diet.
• Avoid iron-rich food or too much calcium.
• Avoid alcoholic beverages.
• Try adding certain fermented foods like yoghurt to your diet.

• Avoid Taxim-O Drops in case of known allergies 
• Consume the medicine at the same time daily as prescribed by the doctor.  
• Do not discontinue the medicine without informing the doctor.
