Dolo Oral Drops 15Ml

Dolo Oral Drop is used to reduce fever and relieve mild to moderate pain in infants and young children. It helps manage discomfort associated with teething, post-vaccination reactions, headaches, toothaches, body aches, and common cold symptoms. The formulation provides quick relief from pain and fever, helping improve comfort and well-being during common childhood illnesses.

• Paracetamol: Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen, is a widely used pain reliever and fever reducer. It works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals responsible for pain, inflammation and fever in the body. Paracetamol is effective in alleviating mild to moderate pain, such as headaches, toothaches, sore throats and muscle aches and reducing fever associated with various conditions like colds, flu and vaccinations.
   
• Other ingredients: Flavoured syrupy base and Colour (Sunset Yellow FCF). 

• Pain Relief: Dolo Oral Drops may help support relief from mild to moderate pain such as headaches, toothaches, sore throats and muscle aches. The active ingredient, paracetamol, works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are responsible for pain and inflammation.
   
• Fever Reduction: Dolo Oral Drops may help promote a reduction in fever, including post-vaccination fever. Paracetamol targets the hypothalamic heat-regulating centre in the brain, helping to lower body temperature and reduce fever.
   
• Teething Pain Relief: For young children experiencing discomfort from teething, Dolo Oral Drops may help provide soothing relief. The paracetamol content helps alleviate the pain associated with teething, while the flavoured syrupy base makes it easier for children to consume.

• Administer Dolo Oral Drops as per the prescribed dosage by your doctor. The dosage is based on your child's weight and age:
• For ages, 2-3 months (3.8-5.5 kg): 0.6-0.8 ml
• For ages, 3-9 months (5.5-8.3 kg): 0.8-1.2 ml
• For ages, 9-12 months (8.3-10 kg): 1.2-1.5 ml
• Ensure a minimum dosing interval of 4 hours between doses. Do not exceed 4 doses in a 24-hour period. 
• The maximum dose should not exceed 60 mg per kg body weight in 24 hours. 
• Always consult a doctor before administering, especially for children under 2 months.

• Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
• Protect from light.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
• Taking Paracetamol more than the daily dose may cause serious liver damage or allergic reactions (e.g. swelling of the face, mouth and throat, difficulty in breathing, itching or rash).

• Discontinue use if you experience any adverse effects.
