Storvas CV 40 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Atorvastatin (40 mg): Atorvastatin falls into the statin class of lipid-lowering medicines. It functions by competitively inhibiting an enzyme in your body called HMG-CoA reductase. This enzyme plays a key role in forming cholesterol inside your body. As a result, it decreases cholesterol production in the liver, increases the clearance of LDL cholesterol from your blood, and reduces total cholesterol, LDL, and triglycerides.
