Use the rotacap with the inhaler device as shown by your doctor or pharmacist, rinsing your mouth with water afterwards to reduce the chance of oral thrush. Continue using it regularly as prescribed, even when you feel well, as it works to prevent symptoms rather than relieve a sudden attack.
Avoiding known asthma or COPD triggers such as smoke, dust, and cold air, along with maintaining a healthy weight and staying active as able, can help support your breathing alongside this medicine. Keep a reliever inhaler with you at all times for sudden breathlessness.
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any heart problems, high blood pressure, thyroid problems, or are taking other medicines. Tell your doctor if your symptoms worsen or you need to use your reliever inhaler more often, as your treatment may need to be reviewed. It is not intended to relieve a sudden asthma attack.
