Composition

Amlodipine (5 Mg) + Telmisartan (40 Mg)

Sartel AM 40/5 Tablet is used to control high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults when a single medicine is not enough, combining an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) and a calcium channel blocker.

It combines telmisartan and amlodipine. Take it as prescribed, and keep taking it even when you feel well.

Reducing salt in your diet, staying active, keeping to a healthy weight and limiting alcohol support better blood pressure control alongside this medicine.

Tell your doctor about any kidney, liver problems or pregnancy before starting. Avoid telmisartan in pregnancy. Report marked ankle swelling or dizziness.

Sartel AM 40/5 Tablet is used to control high blood pressure in adults when a single medicine is not enough.

Uses of Sartel AM 40/5 Tablet are:

High Blood Pressure: Combines an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) and a calcium channel blocker for better control.
Cardiovascular Protection: Reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke and cardiovascular events.
Kidney Protection: Helps protect kidney function in adults with hypertension.

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Do not crush or chew the tablet.
Make sure you take this medicine at the same time each day.
Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor, even if you feel well.
