Salbair Neb 0.63 Transpules 2.5ml is used for the following:

• Management of bronchospasm in asthma

Follow these instructions when using Salbair Neb 0.63 Transpules 2.5ml:

• Use this medicine only with a proper nebuliser connected to an air compressor.

• Ensure your nebuliser is clean and properly assembled before use.

• Break open the transpule and empty the full contents into the nebuliser chamber.

• Sit in an upright position and place the mouthpiece in your mouth.

• Breathe normally through your mouth until all the medicine is used up.

• Each nebulisation session typically takes 5-15 minutes to complete.

• Rinse your mouth with water after using the nebuliser.

• Clean your nebuliser according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Salbair Neb 0.63 Transpules 2.5ml contains levosalbutamol (0.63 mg), which works as follows:

• Selective Beta2-Adrenergic Stimulation: Levosalbutamol specifically targets and activates beta2-adrenergic receptors found in your lungs. These receptors are proteins that respond to certain chemicals in your body.

• Bronchial Smooth Muscle Relaxation: When inhaled, levosalbutamol causes the smooth muscles surrounding the airways to relax and widen, making it easier to breathe.

• Increased Airflow: By widening the airways, the medicine increases the flow of air into and out of the lungs, helping to relieve symptoms like wheezing and shortness of breath.

• Reduced Inflammatory Mediator Release: Levosalbutamol may help decrease the release of substances from mast cells that can trigger inflammation and narrowing of the airways.

• Store at room temperature (below 30°C).

• Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

• Use within 3 months of opening the foil pouch.
