Roliten 1 Tablet is a medicine used to manage the symptoms of an overactive bladder (OAB) in adults. It helps reduce urinary urgency, the sudden and compelling need to urinate, urinary frequency, and urge incontinence, where there is involuntary leakage of urine along with a strong urge to pass water.
It contains tolterodine and belongs to a group of medicines called antimuscarinics, which work by relaxing the muscles of the bladder wall. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it. It can be taken with or without food. It may take a few weeks of regular use before you notice improvement in your symptoms.
Reducing caffeine, alcohol and fizzy drinks, along with bladder training exercises as advised by your doctor, can support better bladder control alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have glaucoma, urinary retention, slow stomach emptying, or are taking other medicines. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
