Refzil O 250mg Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections in the body, including those affecting the lungs, urinary tract, ears, nasal sinuses and throat. It contains cefprozil, a cephalosporin antibiotic.

It works by eliminating the bacteria responsible for the infection, helping your symptoms improve and allowing the infection to heal. Take it regularly, with or without food, at evenly spaced intervals as prescribed.

Completing the entire course of antibiotics even if you feel better helps ensure the infection clears fully and reduces the risk of it returning.

Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you are allergic to cephalosporin or penicillin antibiotics, or have kidney problems. This medicine is not effective against viral infections such as the flu or common cold.
