Pylokit Kit 1

Pylokit Kit 1 may interact with the following medicines:

• Antidiabetic medicines (e.g., insulin, glimepiride): Clarithromycin may increase the risk of low blood sugar in some individuals. Blood glucose monitoring may be required during combined use.
• Antiarrhythmic medicines (e.g., amiodarone, quinidine): Clarithromycin may increase the risk of serious heart rhythm problems when taken together with these medicines. ECG monitoring may be required during combined use.
• Anticoagulants (e.g., warfarin): Clarithromycin may increase the blood-thinning effect of warfarin and raise the risk of bleeding. Monitoring of clotting parameters may be required during treatment.
• Statins (e.g., simvastatin, atorvastatin): Clarithromycin may increase the blood levels of certain statins and increase the risk of muscle-related side effects. Dose adjustment or temporary discontinuation may be advised.
• Medicines that prolong QT interval (e.g., moxifloxacin, sotalol): Concurrent use may increase the risk of abnormal heart rhythm. Caution and monitoring may be advised during treatment.
• Disulfiram: Taking tinidazole with disulfiram may increase the risk of confusion or psychiatric side effects. Concurrent use is generally avoided.

Pylokit Kit 1 may interact with the following foods and beverages:

• Grapefruit or grapefruit juice: Grapefruit may increase the blood levels of clarithromycin and increase the risk of side effects in some individuals. Limit grapefruit intake during treatment.

Pylokit Kit 1 should be used with caution if you have:

• Heart rhythm disorders or QT prolongation: Clarithromycin may increase the risk of abnormal heart rhythm in some patients. ECG monitoring may be advised during treatment.
• Stomach disorders: Long-term acid suppression therapy may alter stomach acid balance and gastrointestinal function in some patients. Monitoring may be advised if symptoms persist.

The daily dose of Pylokit Kit 1 should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage and duration of treatment may vary depending on the severity of infection and individual response to therapy.

Taking more than the prescribed amount of Pylokit Kit 1 may increase the risk of severe nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, dizziness, or confusion. Seek immediate medical attention if overdose is suspected.

If you miss a dose of Pylokit Kit 1, take it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take two doses together to compensate for the missed dose.
