CompositionPrimolut-N Tablet is used to treat menstrual disorders such as irregular periods, heavy bleeding, painful periods, and missed cycles. It helps regulate hormones and restore a normal menstrual pattern. This medicine is also used to delay periods or induce menstruation in women who have missed periods for several months. Use it only as prescribed and inform your doctor about pregnancy or hormone-related conditions.
Primolut-N Tablet is used to manage irregular, heavy, or painful periods, delayed menstruation, PMS, and endometriosis. It also helps relieve pelvic pain, mood changes, bloating, and breast tenderness, and is used in hormone-related menstrual and menopausal disorders.
Primolut-N Tablet is taken orally.
Primolut-N Tablet may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, stomach pain, bloating, breast tenderness, and fatigue. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist.
Most of the above-mentioned side effects resolve on discontinuation of the tablet and are temporary and, in the majority of cases, do not require medical attention. Take this tablet wth food and avoid activities that require alertness until the side effects subside. If you experience severe or persistent side effects from this tablet, consult your doctor.

Use of Primolut-N Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy. It can affect the baby's development.
Women who are breastfeeding should avoid the usage of this tablet as they may pass through the breast milk. Taking the medicine in such a condition may harm your infant. Your doctor may suggest other safer alternatives.
Primolut-N Tablet is not recommended for patients with severe liver problems or liver tumours. The use of medicine may increase your liver enzymes and affect its functions, thus worsening the current condition.
If you have a kidney problem, then you must inform your doctor and take his advice before taking this medicine.
Do not drive or use any machinery if symptoms, such as dizziness, sleepiness, and loss of vision, are experienced after taking this tablet.
If you are allergic to norethisterone, or other similar hormone medicines, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine, do not take it.
Primolut-N Tablet is not recommended for use in females before their menstruation cycle begins.
The effect of this medication on older patients may vary based on their disease and general health condition. Patients with a history of jaundice, heart troubles, migraine, heart attack or angina are not recommended to use this medication. Hence it is necessary to consult a doctor before administering the medicine.
