CompositionDub-5 Tablet is used to manage various menstrual and gynaecological disorders in women. It contains norethisterone, a synthetic progestogen.
Norethisterone works by mimicking the natural hormone progesterone, which helps regulate the menstrual cycle, control the growth and shedding of the womb lining, and can be used to delay a period when timed correctly.
Take this tablet at the same time each day, exactly as your doctor prescribes, for the number of days advised for your particular condition, whether that is to control bleeding, ease painful periods, or delay a period.
Tell your doctor if you have a history of blood clots, liver disease, or breast cancer, as norethisterone may not be suitable in these situations. Report any unusual leg swelling or pain, chest pain, or sudden severe headache promptly, and avoid this medicine if you are pregnant.
