Pregnidoxin Nu 10/10 MG Tablet 15

Pregnidoxin NU Tablet is used in:

• Nausea and vomiting in pregnancy: The primary use of this tablet is to treat nausea and vomiting in pregnant women when symptoms persist despite dietary changes or non-medicine treatments.
• Allergic rhinitis: It may also be prescribed to manage symptoms of allergic rhinitis, which include nasal congestion, sneezing, rhinorrhea, and nasal itching.
• Vitamin B6 deficiency: Pregnidoxin NU Tablet addresses vitamin B6 deficiency, which can affect energy metabolism and overall health.
• Insomnia: In some cases, it is prescribed to treat insomnia, helping individuals with sleep-related difficulties.

• It is usually taken on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal.
• Swallow the tablet as a whole.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
• Take it at a fixed time each day.

Pregnidoxin NU Tablet is taken orally.

Pregnidoxin NU Tablet contains the following components:

• Doxylamine (10 mg): It is an antihistamine that blocks nausea triggers, particularly in pregnant women, by preventing or stopping the effects of histamine (a natural substance in the body that can cause symptoms like itching, sneezing, and nausea).
• Vitamin B6 / Pyridoxine (10 mg): Pyridoxine is essential for metabolising amino acids and synthesising neurotransmitters like serotonin, dopamine, and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). This can help regulate mood, reduce nausea and vomiting during pregnancy, and support the development of the nervous system in the foetus.

• Store the medicine at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Protect the medicine from light and moisture.
• Keep this tablet out of the reach of children.
• Do not use the medicine after the expiry date mentioned on the packaging.

• Consume a well-balanced diet rich in essential nutrients, including folate, iron, calcium, and vitamin D, to support the health of both you and your developing baby.
• Include folate-rich foods like leafy greens, legumes, citrus fruits, and fortified cereals to prevent neural tube defects in the foetus.
• Stay hydrated to prevent dehydration and help reduce common pregnancy discomforts like constipation.
• Eating small, frequent daily meals can help manage morning sickness and nausea.
• Identify and avoid specific foods or smells that trigger nausea or discomfort.
• Get adequate rest and sleep to help your body recover and manage fatigue.
• Practice relaxation techniques like deep breathing or prenatal yoga to manage stress and anxiety.
