It contains doxylamine, an antihistamine that reduces nausea signals in the brain, and pyridoxine (vitamin B6); together they reduce pregnancy-related nausea through complementary antiemetic effects.
Take it as prescribed, generally before bedtime, as drowsiness is common. Continue for as long as advised, even as symptoms ease.
