Predmet 8 Tablet is a corticosteroid medicine used to reduce inflammation and suppress the immune response in various inflammatory and autoimmune conditions. It helps control symptoms and prevent disease progression.
Take it as prescribed, usually with food to minimise stomach upset. Swallow the tablet whole with water. The dosage will be determined by your doctor based on your condition. Continue taking it regularly as prescribed. Do not stop taking this medicine abruptly without consulting your doctor, as this can cause serious complications. Your doctor will gradually reduce the dose when treatment is complete.
Bone health, infection prevention, and blood sugar control are important while taking this medicine. Include adequate calcium and vitamin D from dairy products, fortified foods, or supplements; maintain regular physical activity; avoid contact with sick people; report signs of infection such as fever or sore throat; and monitor blood sugar levels if you have diabetes.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have infections, liver or kidney disease, heart problems, high blood pressure, diabetes, osteoporosis, or are taking other medicines. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Regular monitoring of your health is important during long-term use.
