POLYCLAV 125/31.25 MG DRY SYRUP 30 ML is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections in adults and children.

Uses of POLYCLAV 125/31.25 MG DRY SYRUP 30 ML are:

• Respiratory Infections: Treats upper and lower respiratory tract infections such as sinusitis, bronchitis, and pneumonia.

• ENT Infections: Manages infections of the ear, nose, and throat, including otitis media and tonsillitis.

• Urinary and Skin Infections: Treats urinary tract infections and infections of the skin and soft tissues.

• Dental Infections: Helps manage bacterial infections of dental origin.

Administer POLYCLAV 125/31.25 MG DRY SYRUP 30 ML as follows:

• Reconstitute the dry syrup with water as directed on the packaging.

• Clavulanic Acid (31.25 mg): Although clavulanic acid has limited antibacterial activity by itself, its real power lies in its ability to block certain enzymes called beta-lactamases. These enzymes are produced by some bacteria to prevent amoxicillin from exerting its effects. By blocking these enzymes, clavulanic acid ensures that amoxicillin can do its job effectively against even those bacteria that would otherwise be resistant.
