POLFALIX P 2/325MG TABLET 10 is used for the following:

• Relief of dental pain, including post-extraction discomfort

• Management of mild to moderate headaches

• Relief from musculoskeletal pain

• Control of osteoarthritis-related inflammation and pain

• Short-term management of acute inflammatory pain

Follow these instructions while taking POLFALIX P 2/325MG TABLET 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• You may take this medicine with or after food to reduce stomach discomfort.

• Avoid crushing, breaking, or chewing the tablet.

• Take at regular intervals as advised by your doctor.

POLFALIX P 2/325MG TABLET 10 contains two active ingredients that work together to provide pain relief:

• Paracetamol (325 mg): Acts by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system, particularly in the brain. This helps block pain signal transmission and reduces fever by affecting the temperature-regulating centre in the hypothalamus.

• Polmacoxib (2 mg): Functions as a selective COX-2 inhibitor, blocking an enzyme responsible for producing inflammatory prostaglandins. This targeted action helps reduce inflammation and pain while potentially causing fewer gastrointestinal side effects than traditional non-selective anti-inflammatory medicines.
