CompositionPantodac DSR Capsule is used to treat severe acid reflux where you also feel bloated, sick, or as if food is sitting in your stomach. It is used for GERD that causes a burning throat and nausea. It contains pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor that lowers stomach acid for 24 hours, and domperidone, a prokinetic that helps the stomach muscles move food down into the intestines faster; the slow-release form keeps the domperidone working through the day to ease nausea and bloating. Together they stop the acid burn and help the stomach empty properly.
Take the capsule on an empty stomach, usually 30 minutes before your first meal, and swallow it whole with water, as prescribed by your doctor. Consult your doctor before starting, and tell them if you have heart-rhythm problems or severe liver disease.
