OTEK AF EAR DROPS 10ML helps treat susceptible bacterial and fungal infections of the external ear canal while reducing inflammation and relieving pain.

Uses of OTEK AF EAR DROPS 10ML  are:

• Otitis Externa Treatment: Treats susceptible bacterial and fungal infections of the external ear canal.
• Inflammation Relief: Helps reduce redness, swelling, itching, and irritation associated with ear infections.
• Pain Relief: Helps relieve ear pain associated with inflammation and infection.

• Hold the bottle in your hand for one or two minutes to warm the solution. Shake the bottle well.
• Gently squeeze the bottle and instil 4 to 5 drops of solution in the ear. 
• Press the skin flap in the ear and lie down for 60 seconds to let the medication enter the ear canal.
• Repeat the steps for another ear if it is also infected. Tighten the bottle cap after use.

• Clotrimazole (1% w/v): It is an antifungal agent that stops the growth and spread of fungi, which helps to treat fungal infections in the ear. Clotrimazole helps eliminate the infection by inhibiting fungi growth. It relieves associated symptoms such as itching, redness, and discharge.
• Lidocaine/Lignocaine (2% w/v): It is a local anaesthetic that numbs the area where it is applied, providing temporary pain relief and reducing discomfort in the ear. By numbing the affected area, lidocaine/lignocaine helps to alleviate pain caused by the fungal infection and makes the ear more comfortable.

• The bottle should be kept upright in a cool place.
• Keep the bottle away from heat and direct sunlight.
• Refrain from keeping these drops in the refrigerator.
• When not in use, make sure the bottle is tightly closed.
• Keep the bottle away from children and pets.

• Avoid excessive moisture and ensure proper ear drying after bathing or swimming.
