Ondet Injection 2ml is used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgical procedures. It helps you feel more comfortable during and after these treatments.
It contains ondansetron, which belongs to a class of medicines called 5-HT3 receptor antagonists. This injection is given by a healthcare professional as part of your treatment or procedure, usually shortly before it begins.
This medicine is generally used for a short period around your treatment. Staying well hydrated and eating small, light meals when you are able to can help support your recovery alongside the injection.
Before receiving this injection, tell your doctor about any existing heart conditions, liver problems or other medicines you are taking. Tell your care team if you notice a fast or irregular heartbeat, chest pain or severe headache during or after treatment.
