Olmin 10 Tablet 15

Olmin 10 Tablet is used in adults and children over 6 years to manage high blood pressure, helping to reduce the long-term risk of stroke, heart attack and kidney damage.

Uses of Olmin 10 Tablet are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control blood pressure in adults and children over 6 years.
• Cardiovascular Protection: Reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke by easing the heart's workload.
• Kidney Protection: Helps protect kidney function by supporting healthy blood pressure over the long term.

• Take the tablet orally with a full glass of water.

• Swallow the tablet whole without crushing or chewing it.

• You may take this medicine with or without food.

• Try to take Olmin 10 Tablet 15 at the same time each day for best results.

• If you have trouble swallowing tablets, consult your doctor.

• Never adjust your dose without consulting your doctor.

Olmin 10 Tablet 15 is taken orally.

Olmin 10 Tablet 15 contains olmesartan medoxomil (10 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Blocks Angiotensin II Receptors: Olmesartan medoxomil blocks specific receptors (called AT1) that the hormone angiotensin II normally attaches to in your blood vessels. This blocking action prevents the blood vessels from narrowing.

• Relaxes Blood Vessels: Olmesartan prevents the action of angiotensin II, causing blood vessels to relax and widen. This relaxation makes it easier for blood to flow through the vessels.

• Reduces Blood Pressure: The widening of blood vessels leads to decreased resistance to blood flow, which directly lowers your blood pressure to healthier levels.

• Decreases Heart Workload: With wider blood vessels and lower blood pressure, your heart doesn't need to work as hard to pump blood throughout your body.

• Store Olmin 10 Tablet 15 at room temperature below 30°C in a dry place.

• Keep the tablet away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

• Store in the original packaging until it's time to take the medicine.

• Keep out of reach of children and pets.

• Do not use Olmin 10 Tablet 15 after its expiry date.

• Reduce salt intake: Consuming less salt (sodium) helps lower blood pressure. Try to limit processed foods and avoid adding extra salt to your meals.

• Regular physical activity: Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise most days of the week. Activities like brisk walking, swimming or cycling can help manage hypertension (high blood pressure).
