• This medicine is intended for use in adults and children above 6 years of age, as advised by the doctor.

Contraindications

• This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Olmesartan Medoxomil or any of the excipients. It is also contraindicated in patients with biliary obstruction. 

Other Medications To Avoid With This Medicine

• This medicine may interact with potassium supplements, potassium-sparing diuretics (spironolactone and amiloride), antihypertensive medicines (enalapril and aliskiren), non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (ibuprofen and diclofenac), lithium, and diuretics (furosemide and hydrochlorothiazide). These medicines may increase the risk of kidney problems, high potassium levels, or excessive lowering of blood pressure.

Overdose And Missed Dose

• Overdose of this medicine may cause severe dizziness, fainting, rapid heartbeat (tachycardia), and low blood pressure. Immediate medical attention may be required if these symptoms occur.
• If you forget to take this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue the regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose.
