Olmetrack Ct 6.25 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of high blood pressure

• Management of essential hypertension

• Prevention of stroke complications

• Reduction of heart attack risk

• Prevention of kidney damage from hypertension

• Management of fluid retention

• Relaxation of constricted blood vessels

• Improvement of blood flow in the body

Follow these instructions while taking Olmetrack Ct 6.25 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day.

• You may take this tablet with or without food, as prescribed by your doctor.

• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.

• Consult your doctor before stopping this medicine.

Olmetrack Ct 6.25 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Olmetrack Ct 6.25 Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Chlorthalidone (6.25 mg): This is a thiazide diuretic that works on your kidneys to increase the production of urine. It inhibits the reabsorption of sodium and chloride ions in specific parts of the kidneys called distal convoluted tubules, leading to increased excretion of water and salts, which reduces blood volume and pressure.

• Olmesartan Medoxomil (20 mg): This is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that works by blocking the binding of a hormone called angiotensin II to its receptors. This action causes your blood vessels to relax and widen, improving blood flow and reducing resistance in your blood vessels, which helps lower blood pressure.

• Store Olmetrack Ct 6.25 Tablet 10 at room temperature below 30°C.

• Keep it in its original packaging, protected from light and moisture.
