Nupatch Transdermal Patch 1

Nupatch Patch is used for short-term relief of local pain and inflammation caused by musculoskeletal injuries.

Uses of Nupatch Patch are:

• Sprains and Strains: Relieves local pain and swelling after soft-tissue injury.
• Local Joint and Muscle Pain: Reduces inflammation and discomfort at the affected site.

• Make sure the skin area where you will apply the patch is clean and dry.

• Remove the protective liner cautiously. Avoid touching the adhesive side.

• Place the patch evenly over the painful area, sticky side down.

• Press gently on the patch to ensure it sticks well to your skin.

• Keep it on for the duration recommended by your doctor, typically between 12 to 24 hours.

• Once used, fold the patch in half so that the adhesive sides stick together before disposing of it safely.

Nupatch Patch is applied topically.

Nupatch Patch contains diclofenac diethylamine (200 mg), which works on your body in the following ways:

• Blocks Prostaglandin Production: Diclofenac diethylamine inhibits the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes that are responsible for making prostaglandins in your body. Prostaglandins are chemicals that cause pain, inflammation and fever.

• Reduces Inflammation and Pain: By blocking these enzymes, diclofenac diethylamine effectively reduces inflammation and alleviates pain at the site of application.

• Delivers Medication Locally: As a transdermal patch, diclofenac diethylamine is delivered directly through the skin to the affected area. This localised action minimises systemic exposure compared to oral forms of medication.

• Store Nupatch Patch at normal room temperature, ideally below 25 degrees Celsius.

• Keep the patches in their original packaging to maintain their adhesive properties.

• Avoid exposing the medicine to excessive heat or moisture.

• Always keep the medicine out of sight and reach of children.

• Use the medicine before its expiry date for full effect.

• For conditions like osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, maintain a balanced diet rich in calcium and vitamin D. This can help strengthen your bones and potentially reduce joint pain.

• Engage in regular, gentle exercise, such as walking or swimming, to keep your joints flexible and strengthen the muscles around them. This can help manage pain associated with muscle or joint conditions.
