• Antihypertensives (e.g., Losartan): The concomitant use may enhance blood pressure-lowering effects if systemic absorption occurs, increasing the risk of hypotension.
• Cardiac glycosides (e.g., Digoxin): Systemic absorption of nifedipine may reduce digoxin clearance, potentially increasing plasma levels and risk of toxicity.
• CYP3A4 substrates (e.g., benzodiazepines, Tacrolimus, Warfarin): The concomitant use may alter the metabolism of these medications if nifedipine is systemically absorbed, affecting their therapeutic levels.

Nifecaine Organogel 30gm should be used cautiously in:

• Hypotension: Nifecaine Organogel 30gm may further lower blood pressure due to nifedipine.
• Cardiac disorders: Includes heart failure, recent myocardial infarction, or unstable angina, where use is contraindicated or requires strict monitoring.
• Methemoglobinemia or G6PD deficiency: Increased susceptibility to serious blood disorders.
• Anaemia or hypoxic conditions: Nifecaine Organogel 30gm may worsen oxygen delivery if methemoglobinemia occurs.
