Netalo Eye Drops are used to lower raised intraocular pressure in adults with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Netarsudil acts through Rho kinase inhibition, a mechanism distinct from prostaglandin analogues, beta-blockers, and carbonic anhydrase inhibitors, making it useful when other treatments have been insufficient.
It contains netarsudil, a Rho kinase inhibitor. Use it as prescribed, usually once in the evening. Avoid blinking excessively after instilling. Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting.
Attending regular eye clinic appointments for pressure monitoring and optic nerve assessment is essential for long-term glaucoma management.
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor about any planned eye surgery, existing eye infections, or dry eye conditions. Space eye drops at least five minutes apart if more than one is prescribed. Speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
