Naftifast Cream 50gm

Naftifast Cream 50gm is used to:

• Treat fungal infections such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, and ringworm
• Relieve itching, redness, and irritation caused by fungal infections
• Control fungal growth and prevent spread to nearby skin
• Support the healing of infected skin areas

Follow these instructions while using Naftifast Cream 50gm:

• Apply the cream exactly as advised by your doctor.
• Wash the affected skin gently and dry thoroughly before application.
• Apply a thin layer to the infected skin and a small surrounding area.
• Wash your hands before and after applying the cream unless treating the hands.
• Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and broken or ulcerated skin.
• Do not cover the treated area with tight or airtight dressings unless advised.

Naftifast Cream 50gm is applied topically.

Naftifast Cream 50gm contains the following components:

• Benzyl alcohol (1%): This acts as a mild antiseptic and local soothing agent, helping reduce microbial contamination and providing mild relief from irritation in infected skin areas.
• Naftifine hydrochloride (2%): This is an antifungal medicine belonging to the allylamine class that inhibits ergosterol synthesis in fungal cell membranes. This disrupts fungal cell structure and leads to fungal cell death, helping eliminate dermatophyte infections and relieve symptoms.

• Store below 25°C away from heat and direct sunlight.
• Keep the tube tightly closed after use.
• Store in a dry place away from moisture.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date.

• Wear loose, breathable clothing to reduce sweating and friction that may worsen infection: Choose light, cotton, or moisture-absorbing fabrics that allow airflow and help keep the skin dry, especially in body folds where fungal infections commonly develop.
• Keep affected skin areas clean and dry to support faster healing: Gently wash infected areas daily and dry thoroughly after bathing or sweating, as moisture encourages fungal growth and may delay recovery.
• Change clothing, socks, and undergarments regularly to prevent reinfection: Wearing clean, dry clothes each day—especially after sweating or exercise—helps reduce fungal buildup and lowers the risk of the infection returning.
• Avoid sharing personal items to reduce infection spread: Towels, clothing, footwear, and grooming items can carry infection, so using personal, clean items helps prevent spreading infection to others or reinfecting yourself.
