Myocyst-M Tablet is used to manage polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in adult women. It is a combination medicine containing metformin (a biguanide) and myo-inositol.
It helps regulate periods, support ovulation and improve the hormonal and metabolic problems linked to PCOS, including insulin resistance. Take it with food, to reduce stomach upset, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Eat a healthy diet with controlled portions of rice, roti and sweets, and stay physically active, as regular exercise and a healthy weight help improve PCOS symptoms.
Before starting, tell your doctor about any kidney or liver problems, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Seek urgent help for severe weakness or breathlessness, which can rarely signal lactic acidosis from the metformin component. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
