Mupiheal Cream 15Gm

Mupiheal Cream 15gm is used for managing primary bacterial skin infections such as impetigo, folliculitis, and furunculosis, and for treating infected eczema and infected minor wounds, cuts, abrasions, and burns.

Uses of Mupiheal Cream 15gm are:

• Impetigo and Ecthyma: Clears these bacterial skin infections and reduces crusting and redness.
• Folliculitis and Furunculosis: Treats these bacterial infections of the hair follicles and skin.
• Infected Eczema and Minor Wounds: Clears infection in infected eczema and minor cuts, abrasions, and burns.

Use Mupiheal Cream 15gm as guided below:

• Always clean and dry the affected area before application.
• Apply a small amount of the cream onto the affected area.
• This can be done three times daily or as directed by your doctor.
• You may cover the area with a sterile bandage after application if needed.
• Avoid contact with eyes, nose, and mouth.
• Wash your hands before and after applying the cream to prevent spreading infection.

Mupiheal Cream 15gm contains mupirocin (2 %), which acts on your body as follows:

• Inhibits Bacterial Protein Synthesis: Mupirocin works by binding reversibly to bacterial isoleucine RNA synthetase. This blocks the incorporation of isoleucine into bacterial proteins, effectively prohibiting the bacteria from producing essential proteins for their growth and reproduction.
• Kills Bacteria: The result of inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis is the death of bacteria that commonly cause skin infections, thus promoting healing of the skin and preventing further infection.

• Keep Mupiheal Cream 15gm tube tightly closed when not in use.
• Store it at a temperature below 30°C.
• Avoid exposure to excessive heat or direct sunlight.

• If you're applying Mupiheal Cream 15gm for skin wounds or infections, try to include vitamin C-rich foods like oranges, lemons, and broccoli in your diet. Vitamin C boosts the immune system and aids in skin repair.
• Ensure good personal hygiene to prevent further skin infections. Regularly wash your hands and the affected area, avoiding harsh soaps which could irritate the skin.
