Mucolite LS Syrup is used to relieve productive cough, chest congestion, and breathing difficulty caused by mucus build-up.

Uses of Mucolite LS Syrup are:

• Productive Cough: Breaks down and loosens thick mucus in bronchitis, asthma, and COPD, making coughing more effective.
• Airway Relief: Levosalbutamol opens narrowed bronchial passages, reducing chest tightness, bronchospasm, and wheezing.

Administer Mucolite LS Syrup as follows:

• Shake the bottle well before each use.

Mucolite LS Syrup operates through three active ingredients:

• Ambroxol (30 mg): This mucolytic agent works by breaking down complex mucopolysaccharides present in mucus, making it less sticky and easier to cough out. Ambroxol also encourages the production of pulmonary surfactant, a substance that lubricates the airways.

• Guaifenesin (50 mg): As an expectorant, guaifenesin increases the volume and decreases the viscosity of secretions in the respiratory tract by stimulating receptors in the gastric mucosa. This escalation in airway hydration promotes more effective clearance of mucus through coughing.

• Levosalbutamol (1 mg): This bronchodilator selectively binds to β2-adrenergic receptors on airway smooth muscles, leading to muscle relaxation and widening of airways (bronchodilation), which facilitates easier breathing.
