Moxizee Eye/ear Drops 10ml is used for:

• Treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis in the eye
• Management of bacterial outer ear infections
• Relief from redness, swelling, and irritation caused by bacterial infection
• Control of bacterial growth in the eye or ear under medical supervision

Follow these instructions while using Moxizee Eye/ear Drops 10ml:

• Wash your hands thoroughly before and after using the drops.
• For the eyes: Tilt your head back slightly, gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pouch, and instill the prescribed number of drops. Close your eyes gently for a few seconds. Avoid touching the tip of the dropper to your eye or any surface.
• For the ears: Tilt your head to the side with the affected ear upward, instill the prescribed number of drops into the ear canal, and keep the head tilted for a few minutes to allow the medicine to spread.
• Use the medicine for the full duration prescribed, even if symptoms improve.
• Do not discontinue treatment without consulting your doctor.

Moxizee Eye/ear Drops 10ml contains the following active ingredients:

• Moxifloxacin (0.5%): As a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, moxifloxacin works by inhibiting two enzymes in your body - DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV. These enzymes are key in helping bacteria replicate their DNA and divide into new cells. By blocking these enzymes, moxifloxacin effectively hampers bacterial growth and multiplication.
• Benzalkonium Chloride (0.02%): This component acts as an antimicrobial preservative in the formulation of the eye drops. It prevents the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms, thereby ensuring that the product remains sterile during use. In addition to its preservative role, benzalkonium chloride also possesses some bactericidal and fungicidal properties, which contribute to its effectiveness against certain bacterial infections.
