Moximax D Eye Drops 10ml

Moximax D Eye Drops 10ml is used for:

• Management of bacterial eye infections, including bacterial conjunctivitis.
• Prevention of infection and control of inflammation after eye surgery.

• Wash your hands thoroughly before and after using the eye drops.
• Tilt the head backwards and gently pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
• Instil the prescribed number of drops without allowing the dropper tip to touch the eye, eyelids, or any surface.
• Close your eyes gently for one to two minutes and avoid blinking excessively to allow proper absorption.
• If using other eye medicines, maintain a gap of at least five to ten minutes between applications.
• Do not use for longer than prescribed. Prolonged or repeated use without medical supervision may lead to serious eye complications.

Moximax D Eye Drops 10ml is meant for ophthalmic (topical eye) use only.

Moximax D Eye Drops 10ml contains the following active components:

• Dexamethasone (0.1 %): A corticosteroid that suppresses inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandins, reducing redness, swelling, and irritation in ocular tissues.
• Moxifloxacin (0.5 %): A fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV enzymes, preventing bacterial replication and leading to bacterial death.
• Benzalkonium Chloride (0.01 %): An antiseptic preservative that disrupts microbial cell membranes and prevents contamination of the ophthalmic solution.

• Store at room temperature in a dry place.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
• Protect from direct sunlight and heat.
• Keep out of reach and sight of children.
• Discard after the recommended period following opening.

• Maintain good eye hygiene and wash your hands before touching the eyes.
• If contact lenses must be worn, remove them before instillation and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting.
• Stay well hydrated to support tear production.
• Ensure adequate sleep and reduce eye strain from prolonged screen use.
• Protect eyes from dust, smoke, and environmental irritants.
