Met Xl 3d 25/12.5 Tablet 15 contains three active ingredients that work together to lower blood pressure and reduce heart workload:

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This component blocks the effects of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood vessels to narrow, allowing your blood vessels to relax and widen, which reduces blood pressure.

• Chlorthalidone (12.5 mg): This diuretic enhances sodium and water excretion from the body, helping to reduce blood volume and thereby lowering blood pressure.

• Metoprolol Succinate (25 mg): This beta-blocker works by blocking the effects of stress hormones on the heart by targeting beta-1 receptors. This helps to slow the heart rate and reduce the force of heart contractions.
