Follow these instructions while using Mesacol Enema 60ml:

• Shake the bottle well before use.
• Remove the protective cover from the applicator tip before administration.
• Gently insert the applicator tip into the rectum and squeeze the bottle slowly.
• This medicine is usually used at bedtime and retained for several hours if possible.

Mesacol Enema 60ml contains the following active ingredient:

• Mesalamine / Mesalazine (4 gm): It is an aminosalicylate anti-inflammatory medicine that works locally in the colon and rectum to help reduce inflammation.
