Citralka Liquid is used to manage painful urination, urinary discomfort, and certain types of kidney stones, especially those caused by excess uric acid. It works by alkalizing the urine (raising its pH), which helps reduce acidity, relieve burning sensations, and may assist in the dissolution or prevention of uric acid and cystine stones. An alkaline environment in urine enhances the solubility of uric acid and cystine, helping dissolve certain types of kidney stones and preventing their formation.

• Releases Citrate Ions: The breakdown of disodium hydrogen citrate releases citrate ions into urine. These ions bind with calcium, reducing its likelihood to form calcium-containing kidney stones.

• Creates Unfavourable Environment for Bacteria: The increased alkalinity in urine creates an unfavourable environment for bacteria that cause UTIs.

• Keep Citralka Liquid at room temperature between 20°C to 25°C.
