Mcrotel M 50mg Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Management of high blood pressure (hypertension)

• Prevention of heart attacks and strokes

• Control of blood pressure in chronic conditions

• Management of certain types of heart rhythm problems

• Blood pressure control in patients with diabetes

• Lowering stress on the heart muscle

• Widening of blood vessels for improved blood flow

• Management of hypertension unresponsive to single medicines

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Try to take it at the same time each day.

• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember.

• Continue taking this medicine even if you feel well.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Mcrotel M 50mg Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Mcrotel M 50mg Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Metoprolol succinate (50 mg): This is a beta-blocker that works by blocking the effects of adrenaline (a stress hormone) on your heart. It slows down your heart rate and reduces the force of heart contractions, which helps lower your blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It prevents a hormone called angiotensin II from narrowing your blood vessels. By blocking this hormone's receptors, telmisartan allows your blood vessels to relax and widen, which lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow.
