CompositionAsteros Gold 10 Capsule 10 is used to help prevent heart attacks, strokes and peripheral vascular disease in people at high cardiovascular risk, including those with high cholesterol. It is a combination medicine containing aspirin (an antiplatelet), rosuvastatin (a statin) and clopidogrel (an antiplatelet).
Together, they lower cholesterol and prevent blood clots. Take it after food in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, even when you feel well, and do not stop it suddenly.
Cut down on fried food, ghee and sweets, stay physically active, avoid smoking and limit alcohol. Avoid cuts and injuries, as you may bleed more easily.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have bleeding disorders, stomach ulcers or liver problems, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Tell your doctor or dentist before any surgery or dental work. Report unusual bruising, nosebleeds, black or bloody stools or unexplained muscle weakness immediately. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
