Magnex Forte 1.5gm Injection 1

Magnex Forte 1.5g Injection is used to treat serious bacterial infections like pneumonia, urinary tract infections, septicemia, and infections of the skin, bones, joints, and abdomen. It provides broad-spectrum control in severe, hospital-managed infections.

• The contents of the Magnex 1.5g Forte injection vial must be reconstituted before use.
• Magnex 1.5g Forte injection should be administered only in the presence of and by a healthcare professional.
• The administered dose should be as advised by the doctor. 
• This injection should not be self administered.

• Magnex 1.5g Forte injection is administered intravenously or intramuscularly by a healthcare professional.

Magnex Forte 1.5Gm Injection 1 composition contains Cefoperazone (1000 Mg) + Sulbactam (500 Mg) as its active ingredients.

• Cefoperazone - a broad spectrum cephalosporin. It interferes with cell wall synthesis and prevents the growth of bacteria.
• Sulbactam - a beta lactamase inhibitor which enhances activity of Cefoperazone and reduces the chances of development of resistance in the bacteria for the antibiotic.

Together, this combination is also effective in treatment of antibiotic resistant bacterial infections.

• This medicine should be stored at room temperature (below 30ºC).
• Store it in a cool and dry place away from sunlight. 
• Do not use this medicine past the expiry date.

• Have a balanced and healthy diet.
• Add probiotics like yoghurt to your diet.
• Get enough sleep so that your body gets sufficient rest.
• Eat easy to digest food to help with diarrhoea.
• Drink enough water and increase fluid intake to make up for loss of electrolytes in the body.
• Take enough green vegetables and fruits in your diet.
• Avoid cigarette smoking and drinking alcohol.
• Always practice safe sex to prevent STDs.

• Avoid Magnex 1.5g Forte injection in case of known allergies to its components.    
• Inform your doctor in case you have developed severe side effects from medication.
• Make sure that you do not itch at the site of injection for a while after it is administered.
