Bethanechol (25 Mg)

Macpee 25 Tablet is used to treat urinary retention, a condition where a person is unable to fully empty their bladder. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing bethanechol, and belongs to a class of medicines called cholinergic (parasympathomimetic) agents.

This tablet is often used after surgery or childbirth when the bladder is temporarily unable to empty on its own. Take it on an empty stomach to help reduce stomach upset, in the dose and frequency prescribed by your doctor.

Avoiding alcohol can lower the risk of dizziness and drowsiness alongside this medicine.

Tell your doctor about any stomach ulcers, thyroid problems, slow heartbeat, low blood pressure or urinary infection, and about other medicines you take. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.

Macpee 25 Tablet is used to treat urinary retention in adults, helping the bladder empty fully when it cannot do so on its own, such as after surgery or childbirth.

Uses of Macpee 25 Tablet are:

Urinary Retention: Helps the bladder contract and empty when you are unable to pass urine fully.

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Do not crush or chew the tablet.
