Bethaquest 25 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of urinary retention

• Relieving difficulty urinating after surgery

• Managing bladder emptying problems after childbirth

• Improving incomplete bladder emptying

• Enhancing detrusor muscle contractions

• Helping with exercise ability

• Managing vagotonia-related urinary issues

Follow these instructions while taking Bethaquest 25 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Take this medicine on an empty stomach, either one hour before or two hours after meals.

• Take the tablet at the same time each day for best results.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Avoid stopping this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it's nearly time for your next dose.

Bethaquest 25 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Bethaquest 25 Tablet 10 contains Bethanechol (25 mg), which works on the body in the following ways:

• Muscarinic receptor stimulation: Bethanechol stimulates the muscarinic receptors in the smooth muscles of the bladder, which are part of the parasympathetic nervous system.

• Detrusor muscle contraction: The medicine enhances contractions of the detrusor muscle, which is the muscle responsible for emptying the bladder when you urinate.

• Bladder emptying improvement: By increasing the strength of bladder contractions, Bethanechol helps promote more complete bladder emptying, reducing the amount of urine that remains after urination.

• Acetylcholine mimicry: Bethanechol acts similarly to acetylcholine, a natural neurotransmitter in the body that helps control bladder function and other involuntary processes.

• Store Bethaquest 25 Tablet 10 at room temperature (not exceeding 30°C) in a cool, dry place.

• Keep away from direct light, heat, and moisture.
