Vilfuro-G Capsule is used for the regular, long-term management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema, improving airflow and easing breathlessness.
It contains fluticasone furoate, glycopyrronium and vilanterol. It combines an inhaled corticosteroid, which reduces airway inflammation, with a bronchodilator that relaxes and opens the airways. The capsule is used with an inhaler device, not swallowed.
Use it regularly through the device as prescribed, even when you feel well, and rinse your mouth with water after each dose to reduce the risk of mouth infection.
It is for ongoing control, not for sudden breathlessness, so keep a reliever inhaler. Tell your doctor about any heart problems or glaucoma before use, and report increasing breathlessness or a chest infection.
