Vilfuro G Capsule 10

Vilfuro-G Capsule is employed for the following purposes:

• Maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

• Management of airflow obstruction in patients with chronic bronchitis

• Control of airflow obstruction in patients suffering from emphysema

• This capsule should not be swallowed but inhaled using the specialized inhaler device that accompanies it.

• Make sure to follow the detailed instructions provided for proper use of the inhaler.

Vilfuro-G Capsule is inhaled via a specialised inhaler device.

The three active components in Vilfuro-G Capsule work together to promote bronchodilation and reduce inflammation in the airways:

• Fluticasone Furoate (100 mcg): This is a synthetic corticosteroid that has potent anti-inflammatory properties. By binding to the glucocorticoid receptor in your body, it inhibits the release of substances that cause inflammation in your airways.

• Glycopyrronium (50 mcg): As a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA), glycopyrronium works by blocking the action of a substance called acetylcholine on the muscles in your airways, leading to bronchodilation or relaxation of these muscles.

• Vilanterol (25 mcg): Vilanterol is a selective long-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist (LABA). Its action involves stimulating a substance in your body called adenylyl cyclase, which helps relax the muscles in your airways, resulting in bronchodilation.

• Store Vilfuro-G Capsule in the original, sealed blister packs until you're ready to use them.

• Maintain a room temperature below 25°C for storage.

• Avoid direct sunlight or heat exposure for these capsules.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Make sure to use this medicine before its expiry date.

• Since Vilfuro-G Capsule is used to manage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), it would be beneficial for you to quit smoking. Smoking can cause more damage to your lungs and worsen COPD symptoms.
