Lenalid 25 Capsule 30 is used to treat multiple myeloma.

Uses of Lenalid 25 Capsule 30 are:

• Multiple myeloma: Treats plasma cell cancer of the bone marrow.
• Myelodysplastic syndromes: Manages transfusion-dependent anaemia in MDS with deletion 5q genetic abnormality.
• Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma: Helps treat mantle cell lymphoma and follicular lymphoma in adults.

Follow these instructions while taking Lenalid 25 Capsule 30:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a full glass of water.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Take it at the same time each day for best results.

• Do not open, crush, or chew the capsule.

• Continue taking the medicine for as long as your doctor advises.

• If you have any concerns about taking this medicine, consult your doctor.

Lenalid 25 Capsule 30 contains Lenalidomide (25 mg), which works on the body in several ways:

• Anti-cancer activity: Lenalidomide directly inhibits the growth and survival of cancer cells in the bone marrow, helping to control the spread of multiple myeloma and other blood cancers.

• Anti-angiogenesis: It prevents the formation of new blood vessels (angiogenesis) that tumours need to grow and spread, effectively cutting off the cancer's blood supply.

• Immune system enhancement: Lenalidomide stimulates certain immune cells, particularly T-cells and natural killer cells, increasing their ability to identify and destroy cancer cells.

• Anti-inflammatory effects: It reduces inflammation in the bone marrow environment, which can help prevent cancer cells from thriving and multiplying.

• Store Lenalid 25 Capsule 30 at room temperature.

• Keep the medicine in its original packaging, away from direct light and moisture.

• Store in a dry place where children cannot see or reach it.

• Check the expiry date before use and never take the medicine after this date.

• Dispose of unused or expired capsules according to local regulations.

• If you have multiple myeloma or other blood cancers, eat a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains to support your immune system during treatment with Lenalid 25 Capsule 30.
