CompositionLeecet 10 Tablet is an antiallergic medicine used to relieve symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (hay fever) such as sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, and itching. It is also used to relieve symptoms of chronic hives (urticaria).
It contains cetirizine, an antihistamine that blocks the action of histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms. Take the tablet as prescribed with or without food, preferably in the evening as it may cause mild drowsiness in some people.
Avoiding known triggers such as pollen, dust mites, pet dander, and strong chemicals can help prevent allergic flare-ups alongside taking this medicine.
Tell your doctor if you have kidney problems, epilepsy, or difficulty passing urine before starting this medicine. Although cetirizine causes less drowsiness than older antihistamines, caution should be exercised when driving or operating machinery. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
