Nefrosave Keto-DS Tablet is used in adults with chronic kidney disease to support nutrition and reduce the build-up of waste products, helping to slow the decline in kidney function.

Uses of Nefrosave Keto-DS Tablet are:

• Chronic Kidney Disease: Helps manage kidney disease and slow its progression, including in stages 3 to 5 before dialysis.
• Lower Waste Build-up: Helps reduce blood urea levels and ease symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, poor appetite, and weakness.
• Nutritional Support: Helps maintain nutrition and prevent muscle wasting, and may delay the need to start dialysis.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• The tablet is ideally taken during or immediately after meals.

• Calcium 2-oxo-3-phenylpropionate (136 mg): This component acts as a nitrogen-free analogue of an essential amino acid called phenylalanine, helping to maintain protein synthesis while reducing urea formation and workload on kidneys.

• Calcium 3-methyl-2-oxobutyrate (172 mg): Similar to the above ingredient, this component serves as a nitrogen-free analogue of another essential amino acid called valine.

• Calcium 3-methyl-2-oxovalerate (134 mg), Calcium 4-methyl-2-oxovalerate (202 mg), and Calcium DL-2-hydroxy-4-butyrate (118 mg): These components play similar roles by acting as nitrogen-free analogues of essential amino acids isoleucine and leucine, and a hydroxy acid related to threonine respectively.
