Itrostred OC Cream contains four active ingredients that work together to manage skin infections:

• Clobetasol propionate (0.05%): This super-high potency corticosteroid reduces inflammation in the body. It does this by suppressing the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation.

• Itraconazole (1%): This broad-spectrum triazole antifungal inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol, a key component of the fungal cell membrane. The inhibition disrupts fungal growth, leading to elimination.

• Ofloxacin (0.75%): As a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, it works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV enzymes. These enzymes are needed for bacterial DNA replication, transcription, repair and recombination. The resultant effect is the inhibition of bacterial cell growth.

• Ornidazole (2%): This nitroimidazole antibacterial and antiprotozoal agent works by damaging the DNA and other critical cell components in susceptible organisms, resulting in their death.
