Inderal 20 Tablet is a beta-blocker used to manage hypertension, angina (chest pain), arrhythmias (irregular heart rhythms), and to prevent migraines. It works by reducing the heart rate and the force of heart contractions, leading to lower blood pressure and reduced heart workload.

Use Inderal 20 Tablet as follows:

• Swallow the tablet whole with water. Don't chew or crush it.
• You can take it with or without food.
• Make sure you take this medicine around the same time every day for optimal results.
• It's crucial not to stop taking Inderal 20 Tablet without consulting your doctor first.

Inderal 20 Tablet is taken orally.

Inderal 20 Tablet consists of Propranolol (20mg). Here's how it works:

• Blocks beta adrenergic receptors: Propranolol competes with certain chemicals in your body (sympathomimetic neurotransmitters) for binding at beta(1)adrenergic receptors in your heart and beta(2)receptors in bronchial and vascular smooth muscle.
• Reduces cardiac workload: By blocking these receptors, propranolol reduces your heart rate, contractility, and cardiac output. This means that your heart doesn't have to work as hard and doesn't need as much oxygen.
• Inhibits vasodilation: In your blood vessels, propranolol prevents them from widening (vasodilation). This helps reduce the volume of blood that your heart has to pump.
• Suppresses renin release: Propranolol also suppresses the release of renin from your kidneys, resulting in less angiotensin II formation. This means there's less vasoconstriction (tightening of blood vessels), which helps lower your blood pressure.

• Store Inderal 20 Tablet at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
