Use Inderal 20 Tablet as follows:

• Swallow the tablet whole with water. Don't chew or crush it.
• You can take it with or without food.
• Make sure you take this medicine around the same time every day for optimal results.
• It's crucial not to stop taking Inderal 20 Tablet without consulting your doctor first.

Inderal 20 Tablet consists of Propranolol (20mg). Here's how it works:

• Blocks beta adrenergic receptors: Propranolol competes with certain chemicals in your body (sympathomimetic neurotransmitters) for binding at beta(1)adrenergic receptors in your heart and beta(2)receptors in bronchial and vascular smooth muscle.
• Reduces cardiac workload: By blocking these receptors, propranolol reduces your heart rate, contractility, and cardiac output. This means that your heart doesn't have to work as hard and doesn't need as much oxygen.
• Inhibits vasodilation: In your blood vessels, propranolol prevents them from widening (vasodilation). This helps reduce the volume of blood that your heart has to pump.
