Follow these instructions while taking Glimixia Vm2 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Take this medicine with meals to reduce stomach upset.

• Do not chew, crush or break the tablet.

Glimixia Vm2 Tablet 10 contains three active ingredients that work together to control blood sugar levels:

• Glimepiride (2 mg): Stimulates the pancreas to produce more insulin by binding to specific receptors on pancreatic beta cells, helping to lower blood glucose levels particularly after meals.

• Voglibose (0.2 mg): Works as an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor that blocks enzymes in the small intestine that digest carbohydrates, slowing down carbohydrate digestion and delaying glucose absorption into the bloodstream, preventing sharp rises in blood sugar after meals.

• Metformin (500 mg): Decreases glucose production in the liver (hepatic gluconeogenesis), delays glucose absorption from the intestines, and improves insulin sensitivity in the body tissues, helping to lower both fasting and post-meal blood sugar levels.
