Genfour Dx Eye Drops 5ml are used to treat bacterial eye infections accompanied by inflammation, and to prevent or manage infection and swelling after eye surgery. They are a combination eye medicine containing an antibiotic and a corticosteroid.
The medicine help reduce redness, swelling and pain while clearing the infection. Instil the drops into the affected eye in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, and continue for the full duration even if symptoms improve sooner.
Wash your hands before applying the drops and avoid touching the dropper tip to your eye or any surface. Ask your doctor about contact lens wear during treatment.
Before starting, tell your doctor about any eye conditions, recent surgery, other eye drops, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you use. Report persistent severe eye pain, vision changes or signs of an allergic reaction. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop using the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
