Galirex Syrup is used to relieve cold and allergy symptoms.

• Nasal Congestion: Relieves a stuffy nose, sinus congestion and postnasal drip.

You should take Galirex Syrup in the following way: 

• Use the provided cup to measure your dose accurately.
• You can take this medicine with or without food.
• Always keep the bottle tightly capped after each use.
• Note that this medicine contains sugar, so if you have diabetes, consult your doctor before use.

Galirex Syrup is taken orally. 

Galirex Syrup contains the following components:

• Cetirizine (5 mg): As a potent antihistamine, cetirizine works by selectively inhibiting peripheral histamine H1-receptors. This blocks histamine in your body, preventing allergy symptoms like rash, itching, sneezing and runny nose.
• Dextromethorphan (10 mg): Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that targets the brain's cough center to reduce the urge to cough, especially helpful for controlling dry, non-productive coughs.
• Phenylephrine (5 mg): Phenylephrine is a decongestant that constricts blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing inflammation and swelling to alleviate nasal congestion and aid breathing.

The storage instructions for Galirex Syrup are as follows:

• Store this syrup at room temperature, around 25°C, and protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use this medication once it has passed its expiry date
