Galirex Syrup is used to relieve the symptoms of the common cold and allergies, easing sneezing, a runny or blocked nose, itchy watery eyes, throat and nasal itching, sinus congestion and a dry cough.
It contains cetirizine, dextromethorphan and phenylephrine. It contains an antihistamine that calms the allergic response, a cough suppressant that eases a dry cough, and a decongestant that reduces swelling in the nose.
Take it as prescribed. It may cause drowsiness.
Tell your doctor about any heart problems, high blood pressure, glaucoma or difficulty passing urine before use. Take care with driving, and do not take it with other cold or cough medicines that contain similar ingredients.
